We took a chance on Discovery and it turned out to be the best educational decision we made! Our son has thrived in this academic environment. He is supported, encouraged, and challenged academically. The team of teachers are passionate about what they do and it is reflected in the students. The administration is receptive to parents concerns and their primary focus is making the school successful. When we chose Discovery, we did so because we were looking for an environment for our son that was safe, engaging, small enough that he wouldn't get lost in the crowd, yet challenging enough that he would continue to grow academically as well as personally. Discovery provided all of that and more. When the pandemic hit, that was when we learned how special Discovery truly was. Because of the STEAM rich curriculum at Discovery and the fact that every child enrolled there is given a Chromebook, we were already fully prepared to segue into remote learning. It took the Discovery team mere days to get up and running with regular classes. I cannot understate the value of this and how amazing the entire staff has been throughout the whole process. Discovery is an amazing school, they let kids have a choice to learn what they are interested in. They help you succeed in whatever way makes it possible.
